Qualifications

• Proven metallurgical expertise in alloy development and processing.
• Experience with metallurgical testing and failure analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical leadership across alloy development and process optimization.
• Lead root cause investigations and disposition of non-conforming material (RMRs, customer claims).
• Lead and support cross-functional project teams, ensuring on-time delivery and budget alignment.
• Apply statistical methods and experimental design to solve complex metallurgical challenges.
• Utilize SPC, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools to identify inefficiencies and reduce variation.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff.
• Communicate technical risks and provide recommendations to leadership.
