Job summary

Clients Blackbox, Inc. is seeking a Senior Paid Media Strategist to own client performance across media buying, strategy, messaging, creative testing, and client communication.

This hands-on role requires you to manage a portfolio of accounts end-to-end and lead conversations with clients on performance and strategy. You will write direct-response copy and VSL scripts, develop testing strategies, and diagnose where performance can improve across the funnel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience with substantial Meta advertising responsibility.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts and leading client-facing strategy conversations.
• Proven ability to drive campaigns toward defined performance targets while supporting client retention.
• Strong direct-response copywriting skills, including ad copy and scripts.
• Experience developing and testing creative concepts, hooks, angles, and messaging.
• Experience with conversion tracking, pixels, and basic marketing automation.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts and act as the primary strategic contact.
• Lead bi-weekly calls on performance, strategy, testing priorities, and next steps.
• Prepare and share performance reports 24 hours before calls.
• Translate data into actionable recommendations and decisions.
• Build client relationships to support retention, renewals, and referrals.
• Identify risks and opportunities and address them proactively.
• Build, launch, and optimize Meta campaigns focused on lead generation and appointments.
• Manage budgets, audiences, bid strategies, account structure, and creative testing.
• Monitor performance against cost-per-appointment and other metrics.
• Diagnose underperforming campaigns and test changes across audiences and messaging.
• Develop testing strategies across variables like audiences, offers, messaging, and creative.
