Job summary

TRUMPF Inc. seeks a (Senior) Consultant Factory Planning to support sheet metal companies across North America in improving manufacturing efficiency, layouts, and material flow. You will analyze, design, and implement practical solutions with measurable impact.

You will collaborate with TRUMPF experts on interdisciplinary projects, lead workshops, and drive change management while traveling up to 60% of the time. Fluency in English is required, additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

3–5 years in customer-facing roles, factory planning, or manufacturing consulting.
Experience in Industry 4.0, Continuous Improvement, or Lean Manufacturing.
Fluency in English; willingness to travel within North America.

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to sheet metal processing companies across North America.
Design and optimize factory layouts, material flow concepts, machine capacity requirements, and storage systems.
Analyze and model manufacturing and business processes to identify improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with TRUMPF experts on interdisciplinary projects with measurable impact.
Lead workshops and support change management to drive customer value.
