Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Lead MES/Digital Manufacturing Business Analyst to partner with our El Paso area electrical sector manufacturing site. This role focuses on Ignition-based MES solutions, translating shopfloor needs into scalable capabilities and ensuring alignment with product strategy and cybersecurity requirements.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, IT, and OT teams to deliver standardized MES across plants, supporting deployment, validation, and adoption from Day 1.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in manufacturing, industrial IT, or MES environments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, OEE, downtime tracking, and quality processes.
• Experience translating shopfloor processes into clear requirements.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, document, and manage business and functional requirements for Ignition-based MES solutions.
• Translate operational use cases into user stories, specs, and acceptance criteria.
• Identify opportunities for standardization and reusable templates across plants.
• Support configuration and deployment of Ignition MES modules such as Production Dispatch, Tracking, and Analytics.
• Collaborate with IT/OT teams on data modeling, tag structures, and ERP integration.
• Coordinate testing, training, and post go-live stabilization to drive adoption.
