Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Lead MES/Digital Manufacturing Business Analyst to drive the design, deployment, and optimization of Ignition-based MES solutions across manufacturing sites as part of the Digital Manufacturing Tiger Team. Travel up to 25% is required, and the role bridges manufacturing operations with IT/OT to ensure standardized MES capabilities align with strategy.

The ideal candidate brings deep Ignition knowledge, ISA-95/UNS familiarity, and a track record of translating

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in manufacturing, industrial IT, or MES environments.
Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, OEE, downtime tracking, and quality processes.
Experience in IT/OT integrated environments and translating shopfloor processes into clear requirements.

Responsibilities

Partner with manufacturing, operations, quality, and IT stakeholders to understand current-state processes and future-state MES needs; elicit, document, and manage business and functional requirements for Ignition-based MES solutions.
Translate operational use cases into user stories, functional specs, and acceptance criteria; ensure alignment with business objectives for solution designers and developers.
Identify opportunities for standardization and solution-template reuse across plants while balancing site-specific needs.
Support configuration and deployment of Ignition MES modules (Production Dispatch & Execution, Production Tracking, OEE, Data Collection, Quality Execution).
