Job summary

Corning Inc. is seeking a Senior MES Developer/Support to design, develop, and sustain MES solutions that enable efficient manufacturing operations.

You will work with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Automation, and IT to deliver scalable MES capabilities, resolve complex issues, and improve system performance. The role requires deep MES experience, OO programming, and strong collaboration across functions in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years MES development, implementation, and support in manufacturing.
• Experience with MES platforms like Rockwell/Siemens/Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of MES applications.
• Translate requirements into scalable MES designs, data models, and workflows.
• Develop clean, maintainable code using OO principles and standards.
• Collaborate across Operations, Quality, Engineering, Automation, and IT.
• Support MES integration with ERP, databases, machine interfaces, and reporting tools.
• Act as escalation point for MES issues and drive root-cause analysis.
