Job summary

Corning is seeking a talented IT leader to design, develop, and implement digital strategies across multiple manufacturing plants. The role focuses on cost reduction, quality improvement, and leveraging data analytics to drive process optimization.

You will collaborate with operations, supply chain, and finance to deploy transformative projects. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of manufacturing automation experience, strong programming skills, and experience with analytics tools.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years manufacturing industry experience with automation/optimization projects.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Proficient with web development, .NET, Flask, IIS, Visual Studio, Git.
• Experience with SSRS, SQL, and PowerBI for analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement manufacturing solutions using modern digital tech and data analytics.
• Define controls hardware platforms/systems for process control implementation.
• Analyze processes to identify optimization opportunities and write proposals.
• Lead cross‑functional projects and transfer new process control tech to manufacturing.
