Job summary

Compal USA Technology is expanding its advanced manufacturing operations in Central Texas and we’re looking for an experienced MES Engineer to help build and support the systems powering our production environment.

In this role, you’ll implement, configure, maintain, and optimize MES solutions, integrate MES with SAP/ERP, WMS, PLM, and production equipment, and collaborate across Manufacturing, Engineering, QA/QE, IT to ensure reliable operations from NPI and pilot runs through mass production.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on MES experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years working directly with manufacturing processes such as assembly, testing, packing, WIP, routing, and traceability.
• Strong knowledge of core MES functions, including work orders, routes, BOMs, WIP management, production reporting, and traceability.
• Experience supporting NPI, pilot-run, and mass-production environments.
• Hands-on experience integrating MES with SAP/ERP, WMS, PLM, equipment, barcode, or labeling systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, maintain, and optimize MES solutions.
• Design workflows supporting assembly, testing, and packing operations.
• Integrate MES with ERP, SAP, WMS, PLM, and production equipment.
• Provide real-time support for work orders, routes, stations, WIP, production reporting, holds, and releases.
• Troubleshoot system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Support NPI setup, system testing, pilot runs, and mass-production launches.
