Job summary

FNBO is seeking a Senior Advisor, Merchant Services Sales in Omaha to grow merchant services through market-facing business development. You will lead discovery, proposals, negotiations, and agreements, servicing a range of clients from startups to corporates.

You will develop opportunities via banker referrals, centers of influence, and direct prospecting, while collaborating with product, implementation, and support teams to ensure smooth transitions and strong client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Five or more years of successful sales experience with Merchant Services knowledge.
• Proven ability to grow and diversify a client portfolio across business sizes and verticals.
• Consultative sales approach with discovery, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple relationships and opportunities simultaneously.
• Experience using CRM, pipeline management, and sales-prospecting tools.

Responsibilities

• New business development and portfolio growth through referrals, centers of influence, and direct prospecting.
• Lead the sales process from qualification through presentation, negotiation, and contract.
• Set expectations on timing, documentation, and implementation dependencies.
• Tailor recommendations to customer size, industry, and complexity.
• Build trusted relationships with bankers and internal partners to optimize opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
