Qualifications

• 5-8 Merchandising experience in Lifestyle classifications with 3+ years of management experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Must collaborate to understand and complete project goals.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and decision-making; manage multiple projects.
• Attention to detail; work across departments to meet goals.
• Influence, coach, and lead diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic merchandise plans to maximize product sales and manages profit and loss for each merchandise assignment.
• Gather market data from trade shows, customers, competitors, and internal sources; translate into market intelligence reports.
• Evaluate vendor capabilities and develop relationships with suppliers.
• Recommend changes in procurement to improve service, quality, and reduce costs; create inventory plans.
• Evaluate supplier reliability and expand supply sources; manage quality, sourcing, delivery.
• Define product and distribution standards and monitor supplier performance.
• Monitor merchandising costs, schedules, and contract scopes to ensure best value.
• Collaborate with management to address profit and loss issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute merchandising strategies.
• Collaborate with Marketing to create promotional calendars and provide campaign insights.
• Follow legal guidelines and perform other duties as assigned.
