Job summary

Bed Bath & Beyond is seeking an experienced Merchandising Manager to lead the strategic plans for assigned lifestyle merchandise and own the associated P&L.

You will gather market and vendor data, evaluate suppliers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and marketing to optimize assortment, pricing, and promotional calendars. A bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of merchandising experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–8 merchandising experience with 3+ years of management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with suppliers and internal teams.
• Excellent time management, multitasking, and proactive work style.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Economics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic merchandise plans to maximize sales and manage P&L for assigned assortments.
• Analyze trade, market, and vendor data to inform decisions.
• Evaluate suppliers and build relationships to support merchandising strategies.
• Recommend procurement changes to improve service, quality and costs.
• Create inventory plans and assess new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement merchandising strategies.
• Coordinate with Marketing to develop promotional calendars.
• Ensure compliance with legal guidelines and company policies.
