Job summary

The North Face, a VF Corporation brand, is seeking a Senior Manager of Merchandising for Performance Footwear. You will shape long-term vision, drive consumer-relevant strategies, and lead cross-functional teams across design, development, and sourcing to deliver a balanced, high-growth footwear assortment.

You will present category plans to senior leadership, manage budgets, and mentor a team of merchandising professionals in a fast-paced, global environment with opportunities across wholesale,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in merchandising/product management or related field.
• Strong experience leading technical footwear categories and go-to-market execution.

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy and execution for Performance Footwear (Trail Running, Hiking, Mountaineering).
• Lead category analyses and translate insights into strategies.
• Partner with Brand Innovation, Design, and Development to influence pipelines.
• Oversee seasonal briefs with direction on consumer needs, pricing, and assortment.
• Lead cross-functional pods and key product decisions across development and factories.
• Deliver category financial targets and manage margins and productivity.
• Develop global assortment plans aligned with regional objectives.
• Communicate category vision to senior leadership and external partners.
• Recruit and develop a high-performing merchandising team.
