Job summary

Michaels in Sheridan, CO is seeking a Merchandise Manager who will drive merchandising and store operations, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets and visual standards to create a customer-ready environment.

You will lead a team, ensure SOP compliance, manage pricing, promotions, ship-from-store, RTVs, ASN receiving, and maintain in-stock levels through effective workload planning and training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to stand long periods and move around the store.
• Comfort with standing, lifting, and working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in SOPs and company programs compliance.
• Lead truck execution, sorting, and merchandise flow to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute and maintain SISO routines for in-stock optimization and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support a clean, organized, customer-ready store environment and backroom organization.
• Manage inventory control, pricing changes, and ship-from-store fulfillment.
• Handle RTVs and ASN receiving with proper documentation and inventory adjustments.
