Job summary

Veronica Beard in New York seeks a Senior Merchandiser to lead the soft wovens (Dresses, Tops & Skirts) product direction, reporting to the Senior Director of RTW Merchandising. You will drive planning, analysis and cross-functional collaboration to deliver on seasonal objectives.

Responsibilities include creating line plans, analyzing sales data, and guiding merchandising strategies across DTC channels with a team-driven approach. This role is based in our NY office.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of merchandising experience, soft wovens preferred.
• Knowledge of RTW Sales and marketplace dynamics.
• Strong understanding of fabrics, fit, and construction.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and reporting abilities.
• Self-starter, fast-paced and able to work both independently and cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Create seasonal line plans for soft wovens, aligned with brand vision and goals.
• Analyze weekly, monthly and seasonal sales data to assess performance and identify opportunities.
• Deliver hindsight reporting and translate findings into forward-looking strategies.
• Provide competitive analysis: price points, silhouettes, fabrics, categories.
• Identify trends and provide seasonal merchandising guidance.
• Develop PK knowledge for store and e-commerce teams.
• Act as liaison between Design, Sales, Production, Planning & Marketing.
• Oversee buying for DTC channels and support in-season performance to hit sales/margin targets.
• Manage Assistant Merchant, providing direction and coaching.
• Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners.
