Job summary

Jobot is hiring a Senior Superintendent - MEP in Houston to lead mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our construction projects. You will drive on-schedule, on-budget delivery while upholding rigorous safety and quality standards.

The role requires 5+ years in MEP, a relevant engineering degree, and proven leadership. You will coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution on complex infrastructure sites.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar MEP role on construction projects.
• A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience managing MEP systems on large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
• Excellent project management and leadership abilities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all MEP aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate and supervise MEP subcontractors per project plans and specs.
• Review and approve MEP designs and ensure on-site implementation.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other professionals.
• Monitor project progress and adjust to ensure on-time completion.
• Ensure all MEP work complies with safety and quality standards.
• Provide technical advice and resolve MEP-related issues.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of systems.
• Manage procurement of materials and equipment for MEP.
• Prepare and present progress reports to senior management.
