Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a lead Mechanical and Electrical Superintendent for a full-time traveling assignment to support a Critical Facilities-Data Centers project in Dayton, OH. You will lead field activities for MEP systems, coordinate with engineers, designers, subcontractors, and owners, and ensure safety, schedule adherence, quality, and budget control.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and a minimum of four years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical systems on large projects.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison with engineers, designers, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owner’s representatives to resolve ME/P issues.
• Develop comprehensive schedules for all project phases including engineering, coordination, installation, start-up, testing, commissioning, and turnover.
• Create and utilize tools to monitor progress against the project schedule.
• Evaluate subcontractor payment requisitions with understanding of funds and remaining work.
• Lead and mentor the MEP team and coordinate with the MEP Engineer.
• Preplan field activities to ensure readiness and compliance with contract documents.
