BRG Advisors is seeking a Senior MEP Superintendent to lead the execution of Mechanical and Electrical systems on major Dallas-area projects. The role involves planning, coordinating, executing, commissioning, and turnover while upholding safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
You will oversee MEP field activities from procurement through turnover, collaborating with the project team, engineers, and subcontractors, and mentoring junior staff.
An elite, nationally recognized General Contractor is seeking a Senior MEP Superintendent to lead the execution of Mechanical and Electrical systems on major construction projects in the Dallas market.
This is a senior field leadership opportunity for an experienced MEP professional who understands that successful MEP delivery requires more than managing subcontractors. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, commissioning, and turning over complex mechanical and electrical systems while maintaining the highest standards for safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between the project team, MEP engineers, design consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, owners, and other stakeholders.
As Senior MEP Superintendent, you will lead all MEP field activities from procurement and engineering through coordination, installation, startup, testing, commissioning, closeout, and turnover.
You will work closely with the Superintendent, Project Manager, MEP Manager, and MEP Engineer while providing leadership and mentorship to MEP Superintendents and Assistant MEP Superintendents.
The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of relevant experience involving mechanical and electrical systems in complex construction environments.
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and field experience.
Candidates should demonstrate:
For candidates with a mechanical background, advanced knowledge of central plants, heating plants, HVAC systems, and air distribution is highly valued.
For candidates with an electrical background, advanced knowledge of power distribution, UPS and emergency power systems, and low-voltage systems is highly valued.
This is an opportunity to join a best-in-class General Contractor where MEP leadership is a critical component of project success.
You will be entrusted with significant responsibility and will work on sophisticated projects involving complex building systems, demanding schedules, and high-profile clients.
We are looking for a field leader—not simply an MEP coordinator.
The ideal candidate can walk onto a complex project, understand the MEP systems, recognize potential problems before they become schedule issues, mobilize the appropriate resources, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and drive the project through successful commissioning and turnover.
If you have the technical expertise, field leadership, communication skills, and executive presence to lead MEP execution for an elite General Contractor, this is an opportunity worth exploring.
Experience: 10+ years relevant MEP experience
Education: Engineering degree preferred or equivalent experience
Project Types: Commercial, Residential, Education, Healthcare, Mission Critical & Complex Construction
All inquiries will be treated confidentially.
