Job summary

LVI Associates seeks an experienced MEP Manager to lead mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection scopes for large industrial and manufacturing projects across the United States. You will collaborate closely with project executives, design consultants, trade partners, and owners to drive successful delivery from preconstruction through commissioning.

Qualifications

• 7+ years managing MEP scopes on large industrial or manufacturing projects.
• Experience with General Contractor, Design-Build, EPC, or Owner's Rep.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, controls, and fire protection systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage all MEP and life safety systems through project lifecycle.
• Lead design reviews and provide constructability input during preconstruction.
• Coordinate MEP subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and commissioning teams.
• Monitor cost, schedule, procurement, and risk for MEP scopes.
• Review RFIs, submittals, VE opportunities, and change orders.
• Support QA/QC activities with project teams.
• Drive safety, commissioning, start-up, testing, and turnover efforts.
• Attend coordination meetings with owner, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Ensure building systems meet project specifications and ops requirements.

As MEP Manager, you will oversee all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection scopes from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover. You will work closely with project executives, operations teams, design consultants, trade partners, and owners to ensure successful project delivery.

The position will be involved with large industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, process facilities, warehouse/distribution centers, and other complex construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all MEP and life safety systems throughout the project lifecycle
• Lead design reviews and provide constructability input during preconstruction
• Coordinate MEP subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and commissioning teams
• Monitor cost, schedule, procurement, and risk associated with MEP scopes
• Review RFIs, submittals, value engineering opportunities, and change orders
• Support project teams with quality assurance and quality control activities
• Drive safety, commissioning, start-up, testing, and project turnover efforts
• Attend owner, consultant, and subcontractor coordination meetings
• Ensure building systems are delivered in line with project specifications and operational requirements

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience managing MEP scopes on large commercial, industrial, manufacturing, mission critical, pharmaceutical, automotive, or advanced technology projects
• Experience working for a General Contractor, Design-Build Contractor, EPC Contractor, or Owner's Representative
• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, controls, and fire protection systems
• Experience managing MEP subcontractors through installation, testing, and commissioning
• Ability to review drawings, specifications, schedules, and budgetsStrong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
