Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role in the construction industry with a focus on MEP.
• A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing MEP systems on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all MEP aspects of our construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate and supervise the work of all MEP subcontractors, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the project plans and specifications.
• Review and approve MEP designs and plans, and ensure they are implemented correctly on-site.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure the smooth progress of the project.
• Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.
• Ensure all MEP work complies with all relevant safety and quality standards.
• Provide technical advice and resolve any emerging issues related to MEP systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of systems and equipment.
• Manage the procurement of materials and equipment for MEP systems.
• Prepare and present reports on the progress of the MEP aspects of the project to senior management.

This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and project management capabilities. The Senior Superintendent - MEP will ensure that all work is completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and quality standards.
