Job summary

Jobot seeks a Superintendent or Junior Superintendent to oversee field operations on renovation and MEP-focused construction projects. This hands-on leadership role manages day-to-day site activities, coordinates subcontractors, maintains schedules, and ensures work is performed safely, on time, and within budget.

Candidates should have experience with renovations, tenant improvements, facility upgrades, and MEP systems.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or Junior Superintendent.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and coordination.
• Renovation, retrofit, modernization, or occupied-space construction experience.
• Experience managing commercial, healthcare, government, infrastructure, industrial, or mission-critical projects.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain project schedules.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel for project assignments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities and field operations.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.
• Manage project schedules and drive milestone completion.
• Lead project safety initiatives and maintain compliance standards.
• Coordinate installation and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Conduct site walks and quality control inspections.
• Support project managers with planning, logistics, manpower forecasting, and project execution.
• Maintain strong client, subcontractor, and internal team relationships.
• Identify and proactively resolve field issues.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
