Layton Construction is seeking a Senior MEP Project Manager to lead planning, management, and execution of complex construction projects. The role spans budgets, schedules, quality, safety, and owner satisfaction across multiple projects where applicable.

Ideal candidates bring six+ years of data center construction PM experience, strong negotiation skills, and a professional engineering/related background.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
• Minimum of six or more years project management experience within Data Center Construction.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial construction processes.
• Understands estimating concepts to verify bids, market rates, and to process change orders.
• Understands contractual language to protect the company while delivering quality service.
• Knowledge of construction laws and practices.
• Reads and understands plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-starter; able to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in preparing estimates for the project.
• Prepare project budgets and unit cost reports.
• Lead the project team in preparing the project management plan (PMP).
• Participate in value engineering services as appropriate.
• Organize and conduct pre-award and pre-construction meetings.
• Participate in the negotiation and preparation of project subcontracts.
• Obtain permits and resolve regulatory requirements as necessary.
• Prepare a project schedule and develop milestones with the project superintendent.
• Obtain plans and specifications and determine their completeness.
• Assist business development personnel as requested.
• Plan the successful execution of the construction contract.
• Manage project materials and equipment procurement within budget and schedule.
• Develop and monitor project quality, safety, and risk plans.
• Monitor site cost, safety, quality, and schedule performance.
