Job summary

The Beck Group, headquartered in Dallas, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex mission-critical projects. You will direct on-site teams, manage budgets and schedules, and maintain client and subcontractor relationships across multiple concurrent projects up to $150 million in scope.

You will steer preconstruction, bid analysis, and Change Order development, while driving value engineering and risk management. Beck offers a collaborative culture and performance-based rewards.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant commercial construction experience.
• Experience leading projects with values at or exceeding $100 million.
• Ability to lead project outcomes including financials, completion, and schedule.
• Understanding of pre-project planning and its impact on delivery.
• Familiarity with design processes and integrated project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site construction with a team of project engineers, APMs, superintendents, and subcontractors.
• Lead client interface and manage owner-architect-subcontractor relationships.
• Direct bid/package development, pre-bid meetings, and bid analysis.
• Review proposed changes and develop Change Orders with subcontractors.
• Manage project schedule and ensure adherence to Beck's scheduling policy.
• Identify and lead cost-saving opportunities through value engineering.
• Maintain accurate budgets for general conditions and requirements.
• Negotiate disputes and resolve issues with owners and subs.
• Ensure contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders comply with documents.
• Understand breach implications and enforcement steps.
• Cultivate relationships to win $25M+ in annual work.
