Job summary

Group PMX is seeking a Senior MEP Project Manager to lead mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and life-safety scopes on academic and institutional facilities. You will drive technical leadership across the project lifecycle, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.

This role requires strong familiarity with MEP coordination, commissioning, and energy efficiency strategies, plus experience with Procore and Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• ExperienceLeading MEP scopes for complex projects in education or large facilities.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and life safety systems.
• Proactive coordination of multiple stakeholders, consultants, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEP planning, coordination, and construction administration for diverse facilities.
• Manage multiple capital projects with strategic oversight of MEP systems.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and campus facilities personnel.
• Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and construction documents for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with codes, energy regulations, and sustainability goals.
• Develop schedules, identify risks, and coordinate activities to minimize disruption.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, contracts, and change orders.
• Provide leadership during value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Oversee procurement and delivery of critical MEP equipment.
• Coordinate commissioning and turnover activities to ensure systems perform as designed.
• Collaborate with campus leadership to align objectives with priorities.
• Support energy efficiency and long-term asset management initiatives.
• Lead closeout with as-built documentation and training.
