Job summary

Yates Construction seeks a Sr. MEP Project Manager to oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on large commercial projects in Georgia with nationwide travel.

You will lead planning, procurement, and integration of MEP work, while coordinating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to meet schedule, budget, and safety standards. The role requires extensive MEP knowledge, strong leadership, and excellent communication, with responsibility for on-site supervision, risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Construction Management or related field required.
• 5–10 years of experience managing MEP projects in commercial/industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, ASHRAE, NFPA codes and building regulations.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with architects/engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and coordination of MEP installations through project lifecycle.
• Review plans/specs/contracts to understand MEP requirements and goals.
• Develop and manage the MEP schedule; ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Oversee procurement of MEP materials and subcontractors; manage budgets.
• Lead safety, quality, and risk management for MEP activities.
• Mentor engineers, field staff, and subcontractors; conduct regular team meetings.
