Job summary

Shiel Sexton Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced MEP Manager to provide technical leadership across planning, design, implementation, and support of HVAC, hydronic, water, power distribution, lighting, and related systems.

The role involves day-to-day support, scheduling, and coordination for the project delivery team with a focus on delivering complex MEP solutions. The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in MEP commercial construction, a construction-related bachelor’s degree, and proficiency

Qualifications

Eight to ten years of experience in MEP commercial construction management.
Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field preferred.
Experience with computer-based scheduling programs such as Primavera or ASTA;
Knowledge of Word, Excel, and project management systems such as Viewpoint or Expedition a plus;
Open to periodic travel.

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise and leadership in planning, design, implementation, and support of MEP systems.
Lead and coordinate MEP project delivery with the client and design teams.
Manage MEP budgets, contracts, and change orders; oversee scheduling.
Mentor and develop a strong project team from start to finish.
Facilitate progress meetings and communications with stakeholders.
