Trueline is seeking an MEP Preconstruction Manager to lead design phases for commercial projects, partnering with owners and designers to define success and deliver robust proposals. You will manage schedules, cost documentation, and LEED tracking while mentoring Design Phase Engineers in a team-first culture.

The role requires 10+ years in construction with strong MEP knowledge, and a 5+ year track record in estimating or on-site PM roles, including preconstruction leadership.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 10+ years construction experience.
• 5+ years estimating or on-site project management, including 1-2 years as Preconstruction Manager.
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage systems.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the design phase for concurrent commercial projects, including estimating, scheduling, design development, and commissioning planning.
• Work with owners to define project expectations and critical success factors during design.
• Facilitate designer solicitation, selection, and contracting on design-build projects.
• Develop and lead preparation and presentation of project proposals.
• Build detailed design-phase and baseline construction schedules.
• Lead construction planning, contracts, and procurement using Lean Design Delivery and BIM/VDC.
• Guide design teams to build constructability and logistics into the design and provide input on programming.
• Lead estimating team members on design, including drawings, specs, scheduling, and cost documentation.
• Manage design-phase costs via estimates, VE, life-cycle analysis, and budget management.
• Secure regulatory approvals and manage insurance, bonding, owner contracts, and subcontractor terms; implement LEED tracking.
• Supervise and develop Design Phase Engineers, including performance evaluations and hiring decisions.
• Set the tone for exceptional customer relationships and identify future project opportunities.
