Job summary

Turner Construction Co. is seeking an experienced, full-time traveling senior MEP Project Manager for a Critical Facilities-Data Centers assignment based in Phoenix, AZ. The role oversees preconstruction, engineering, and field installation of MEP systems across data center, pharmaceutical, industrial, EV/renewables market segments.

Reports to the Project Manager and Project Executive. Must have a Bachelor's degree and 10+ years' experience with design, cost, sequencing, and field installations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years' experience with progressively more responsible exposure to design, cost, sequence, logistics and field installations of Mechanical and Electrical systems or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to present technical material; LEED accreditation preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; knowledge of project management and scheduling software desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, design consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owner's representatives to ensure alignment with client goals from initiation to completion.
• Comprehend contract documents, including Turner's contract, plans, specifications and applicable codes.
• Lead, supervise and develop Turner MEP staff and perform performance appraisals as needed.
• Oversee daily activities of Engineer-MEP, Superintendent-MEP, and subordinates.
• Manage MEP procurement, project budgets, quality, safety, coordination, scheduling, installation, commissioning, and close-out processes.
