The role covers inspecting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations to guarantee compliance with plans, codes, and safety standards. The position involves documenting progress, issuing NCRs, and coordinating with contractors and engineers to ensure quality and safety across complex projects.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Approximately ten years of MEP inspection experience for Associate level.
• Ten+ years for Senior/Lead levels on large complex projects.
• Experience with MEP systems and building codes.
• Cal-OSHA/OSHA 30 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Visit construction sites and inspect work at various stages until project completion.
• Interpret plans, specs, codes, and documents to ensure compliance with standards.
• Prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when needed.
• Maintain daily inspection reports and project documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers and project stakeholders.
• Review progress reports for contractor payments and testing activities.
• Ensure safety policies are implemented on site.
• Supervise and allocate work to inspectors as needed.
