Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager for Data Center Construction to lead procurement strategies, subcontracting, and commercial management on large-scale projects in the U.S. You will source and qualify contractors, draft and negotiate POs and subcontracts, review change orders, and ensure alignment with schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for major construction trade packages and equipment.
• Prepare and issue subcontractor RFPs and equipment RFQs.
• Identify, source, and qualify contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers.
• Lead commercial negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Draft and negotiate purchase orders, subcontracts, exhibits, and terms.
• Review change orders and cost backup with attention to contractual rates.
• Read and understand contracts; reconcile pricing against estimates and field conditions.
• Experience with large-dollar, high-volume procurement for data center construction.

Responsibilities

• Develop a working understanding of the technical scope being procured.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and equipment needs.
• Coordinate with engineering, estimating, project management, and field ops.
• Escalate scope gaps before award and manage risk.
• Negotiate and lead commercial terms; support handoff to project team.
