Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to lead MEP procurement for data center projects in the US. You will develop procurement strategies, manage subcontractor RFPs, negotiate terms, and control costs across large packages while partnering with engineering, estimating, and project management teams.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of progressive construction experience with procurement exposure.
• Experience with MEP procurement, subcontracting and commercial management.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and cost negotiation.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to build cost trackers and analyses.
• Experience administering lump-sum, unit-rate, T&M or GMP contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for major trade packages and equipment.
• Prepare subcontractor RFQs, issue RFPs, and manage bid processes.
• Negotiate and draft subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Review change orders, cost backup, and ensure alignment with contracts.
• Collaborate with engineering, estimating, and project teams to control schedule and budget.
• Maintain diligent documentation of negotiations and commercial decisions.
