Job summary

McGough is seeking an experienced MEP/Cx Superintendent to lead planning, coordination and delivery of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and controls systems on complex projects. You will collaborate with owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and quality targets are met.

The role requires strong leadership, site presence, and the ability to mentor staff while supporting business development and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, construction management, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience in MEP engineering, design, facility management/operations, or construction management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, controls and specialty building systems.
• Experience with design, installation, operation or construction management of engineered systems for complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and delivery of MEP systems on complex projects.
• Manage field staff, subcontractors, equipment vendors, and project teams including daily huddles and weekly work plans.
• Oversee project schedule, procurement, and commissioning documentation.
• Support Ready for Energization reviews and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Foster relationships with clients, design teams, and subcontractors while promoting operational excellence.
