Job summary

McGough Construction is seeking an MEP/CX- Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems. You will work under the MEP Project Manager on design coordination, procurement, field execution, commissioning, and closeout to help deliver complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent education/experience.
• 0–3 years of experience in commercial construction, engineering, facility operations, or related industry.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building controls systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MEP subcontractors and project plans with the Project Manager.
• Review drawings, specifications and contract documents to confirm scope.
• Assist with RFI development, submittals, and change order processes.
• Support design reviews and BIM coordination discussions.
• Ensure field execution aligns with project schedules and safety practices.
• Promote value engineering and cost-conscious decision making.
