Job summary

Design Hire is seeking a Superintendent to manage field execution for commercial construction projects in Alabama. This role emphasizes MEP construction experience, leading field crews, maintaining quality, driving accountability, and supporting punch lists, closeout, and final handoff.

The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and customers on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field crews on construction sites.
• Strong background in MEP construction or related field work.
• Experience coordinating with project teams and customers.
• Solid QA/QC knowledge and punch list management.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily field operations, crew activity, and jobsite coordination.
• Lead union or craft field crews while maintaining productivity, safety, quality, and professionalism.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, vendors, and internal teams to keep work moving.
• Support QA/QC inspections, field documentation, punch list completion, and project closeout.
• Identify schedule risks and field issues before they impact delivery.
