Job summary

Salas O’Brien, is seeking an MEP Commissioning Agent for the New England Division in Boston, MA. You will plan, execute, and document commissioning for new construction, renovations, and retro-commissioning of MEP systems in existing buildings.

Requires 10+ years BAS experience and a degree in engineering or related field; travel 50–75% to project sites; work with owners, designers, contractors, vendors, and facilities staff to ensure systems meet construction documents.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ field and/or operational experience involving building automation systems (BAS) construction.
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in engineering or related field (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, execution, and documentation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems commissioning.
• Collaborate with owners, design engineers, contractors, equipment vendors and facilities staff to verify that MEP systems are installed, started, tested, and documented in accordance with the construction documents.
