Job summary

Consigli Construction Co., Inc. seeks an M/E/P Manager to lead mechanical, electrical and plumbing efforts on complex projects in the Boston area. You will oversee design coordination, commissioning support, schedule input, and field mentoring of project teams and subcontractors.

You will review design documents for constructability, interface with consultants and owners, track submittals and RFIs, and ensure MEP systems meet codes and project goals across all phases of construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• 5–10 years' experience in the construction industry with M/E/P focus.
• 5+ years of experience with M/E/P design, commissioning and construction.

Responsibilities

• Provide MEP/FP technical oversight from preconstruction through closeout.
• Review and coordinate MEP/FP design documents for constructability and system integration.
• Participate in design and coordination meetings with consultants, owners, and project teams.
• Evaluate subcontractor proposals, scopes of work and prequalification packages.
• Monitor MEP construction progress and ensure alignment with plans and codes.
• Support development of MEP schedules and sequencing with project teams.
• Review and track MEP submittals, RFIs and change orders.
• Coordinate field inspections, startup and testing/commissioning of MEP/FP systems.
• Collaborate with commissioning agents to verify system performance and documentation.
• Troubleshoot MEP system issues and resolve with subcontractors.
• Assist in evaluating MEP-related cost impacts, VE options and risks.
• Serve as a technical resource and mentor to project team members.
