Job summary

Lilly, headquartered in Indianapolis, seeks a seasoned MEP Capital Cost Estimator to develop owner-side cost estimates for pharmaceutical manufacturing and infra projects. You will convert design information, market data, and benchmarks into traceable estimates across disciplines, ensuring accuracy and auditability.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 5+ years of estimating experience, plus familiarity with benchmarking, CSI MasterFormat, and Uniformat.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, quantity surveying, or related field.
• At least 5 years of direct capital cost estimating experience for industrial, manufacturing, life sciences, or similarly complex capital projects.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Develop capital cost estimates from Class 5 through Class 1 using multiple estimate methods.
• Prepare estimate plans, workbooks, quantity takeoffs, and bases of estimate.
• Interpret drawings, process flows, and contracts to define estimate scope and cost.
