Job summary

Veolia is seeking an experienced engineer to support the production of water purification membranes. The role focuses on mechanical, industrial, or chemical engineering to optimize membrane manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement.

You will mentor engineers, support day-to-day operations across multiple production lines, and lead initiatives that enhance safety, quality, and productivity while collaborating with R&D, quality, maintenance, and business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing supply chain.
• Preferred: 5+ years of experience in manufacturing supply chain.
• Preferred: Experience with manufacturing of water filtration products.
• Preferred: Experience in process control.
• Green Belt Certified.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor, and develop process engineers on the team.
• Provide engineering support for operation of multiple production lines; troubleshoot and track performance.
• Own the value stream creation and updates within scope.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, R&D, quality, maintenance, sales and marketing to meet goals within schedule and budget.
• Collect and analyze data to drive safety, quality, cost, and productivity improvements.
• Create and update bill of materials, routings, and new part numbers.
• Drive process improvements and lead continuous improvement projects.
• Develop, write, and review new process documentation.
• Potential for on-call or extended hours; support digitization efforts.
• Lead capital project ideation and rollout; train process engineers.
