Job summary

TAPCO Credit Union is seeking an experienced Member Service Representative (MSR) at our Tacoma branch to deliver exceptional member service and manage complex account openings. This role emphasizes accurate processing, cross-selling products, and collaborating with the team to ensure a welcoming member experience.

The Sr. MSR path includes handling more complex loan applications and mentoring junior staff, within a collaborative, community-focused workplace.

Qualifications

• Notary license preferred and/or NMLS license preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to navigate banking systems, policies, and procedures with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional experience for members and handle all transaction needs accurately.
• Open and service complex accounts, including consumer and business accounts, IRAs, and CDs.
• Receive and process consumer loan applications, discuss terms, and cross-sell products.
• Mentor MSR team members and support branch operations (drive-up, night drop, opening/closing).
• Maintain regulatory compliance with BSA/OFAC and related policies.
