TAPCO Credit Union in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Member Service Representative (MSR) and Senior MSR to deliver exceptional service, open accounts, process loans, and mentor teammates. You will foster member relationships and financial wellness in a welcoming branch environment.

MSRs focus on service and accurate transaction processing, Sr. MSRs handle complex accounts, loan processing, and mentoring. Notary/NMLS preferred; strong communication and initiative are valued.

Qualifications

• Notary and/or NMLS license preferred.
• Experience opening business accounts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to navigate systems, policies, and procedures with accuracy.
• Demonstrated initiative in supporting members and team success.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming and professional experience by greeting members and assisting with transactions.
• Build and retain member relationships in person and by outbound calls.
• Refer members to additional product solutions.
• Balance cash drawer daily and resolve discrepancies.
• Support branch operations including drive-up, night drop, opening/closing.
• Adhere to BSA/OFAC and related laws.
• Collaborate across teams and promote TAPCO values.
• Engage in branch promotions and community events.
• Open and service complex accounts (consumer, business, CDs, IRAs, safe deposit).
• Receive and process consumer loan applications; explain terms and cross-sell GAP/warranty.
