• Knowledge of member benefits programs across insurance, retirement, and health services.
• Ability to develop policies, procedures and promotional materials.
• Experience in negotiating with vendors and carriers.
• Familiarity with ERISA compliance and public pension regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new member benefits programs and services.
• Negotiate with insurance carriers and vendors for member coverage.
• Plan annual directory of member benefits and oversee design.
• Provide training to members and staff on benefits programs.
• Coordinate meetings with the Board and retirement committees.
