Job summary

Haemonetics Corp in Boston is seeking a Senior Contract Specialist to draft, review, and manage a broad range of commercial contracts. You will assess legal and commercial risk, advise the Commercial teams, and oversee end-to-end contract processes with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 5-7 years in contract management, healthcare industry experience with hospitals, and a strong grasp of regulatory issues. A competitive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience; paralegal degree preferred but not required.
• Advanced university degree in law or related business field; preferred.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in a law firm or corporate contract management setting.
• Prior healthcare industry experience (Medtech/Biotech/Pharma/Life sciences) working with hospitals is strongly required.

Responsibilities

• Revise, edit, and prepare redlines of complex commercial contracts including MSAs, equipment purchase, tenders, GPLs and vendor agreements.
• Evaluate commercial and legal risk to the company and suggest contract structures or terms for risk management.
• Analyze obligations in contracts and tenders; elevate issues to Legal Department and stakeholders.
• Advise Commercial teams on contractual and regulatory issues and provide analyses and solutions.
