RTI Health Solutions (RTI-HS) is seeking a Senior Medical Writer to lead publication planning, coordinate with internal teams and external authors, and guide complex data to publish high-quality medical communications.

You will interpret results and supporting data for scientific and broader audiences, manage workflows, ensure ethical standards, mentor junior writers, and contribute to business development through proposals and new publication opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ professional medical writing experience.
• At least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
• Proven ability to mentor junior writers and guide them through complex tasks.

Responsabilités

• Lead publication planning with internal teams and external authors for manuscripts, abstracts, posters.
• Interpret results and literature to produce content for scientific and non-scientific audiences.
• Manage publication workflows from concept to submission with stakeholder coordination and quality control.
• Ensure materials meet ICMJE, GPP3 and journal/conference requirements.
• Oversee timelines and budgets while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Mentor and support junior writers and drive team development.
• Engage with clients on proposals and new publication opportunities.
• Shape science communication strategies for new business and pitches.
