Job summary

RTI Health Solutions is seeking an experienced medical writer to join our Medical Communications and Strategy team. You will draft publications (manuscripts, abstracts, posters) and lead collaborative projects with clients.

You’ll manage publication processes, review data, and ensure adherence to ICMJE and GPP guidelines while delivering polished deliverables and meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the Sciences, English, or Communications.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in writing medical or scientific publications.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to present at meetings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal/external authors to develop publication plans focused on manuscripts, abstracts, and posters.
• Provide project management from initiation to publication, including stakeholder communications and client coordination.
• Lead meetings confidently and address challenging questions from stakeholders.
• Evaluate data and literature to summarize study results and inform publications.
• Develop publications in line with company style and journal/conference guidelines.
• Uphold ICMJE and GPP publication standards and manage multiple timelines.
