RTI Health Solutions in the United States is seeking an experienced medical writer to join our Medical Communications and Strategy team. You will draft publications (manuscripts, abstracts, posters) and lead meetings, overseeing journal submissions in collaboration with colleagues and clients.

The role requires strong project management and writing skills, with the ability to translate complex data into publication narratives while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the Sciences, English, or Communications.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in writing medical or scientific publications.
• Strong communication skills, both written and interpersonal, that includes: transform complex scientific data into a publication narrative; tailor content to audience; present at meetings; handle feedback from authors/reviewers; establish client relationships across projects; motivate stakeholders; prioritize and meet deadlines; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with authors and stakeholders to develop publication plans, focusing on manuscripts, abstracts, and posters.
• Provide project management support from initiation to publication, including proposals, communications, and quality review processes.
• Lead meetings confidently and address challenging questions.
• Evaluate and summarize data from study results, documentation, and the literature.
• Develop publications per company style and journal/conference guidelines.
• Uphold industry publication standards (ICMJE, GPP).
• Manage multiple timelines, navigate priorities, and cultivate client relationships.
