Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires at least an associate degree in a lab science; bachelor preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience as Medical Technologist.
• ASCP or equivalent preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff in the absence of the supervisor.
• Monitor test analyses for analytic performance.
• Train staff on equipment, systems and backups.
• Operate and troubleshoot instruments across workstations.
• Coordinate with technical supervisor on policies and procedures.
• Assist in scheduling, payroll prep, procedures development, QC and CE.
• Assess staff performance and conduct evaluations.
• Participate in safety sessions and continuing education.
