Job summary

Sumitomo Pharma America is seeking an Associate Director, Medical Strategy (Prostate Cancer) to lead medical and scientific direction for prostate cancer programs in a US remote role. You will partner with the TA Lead and cross‑functional teams to develop Medical Affairs strategy, publications, and external engagements.

Requires an advanced degree and 8+ years in pharma/biotech, oncology experience, and proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a scientific or healthcare field (PharmD, PhD, MD or equivalent preferred).
• 8+ years of relevant pharma/biotech/Life Sciences experience.
• Oncology experience strongly preferred with medical strategy/publication planning exposure.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a compliant, regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as medical director for prostate cancer projects with leadership oversight.
• Develop Medical Affairs strategic plans aligned with brand imperatives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external scientific experts.
