Sumitomo Pharma America is seeking an Associate Director, Medical Strategy (Prostate Cancer) to lead medical affairs strategies for prostate cancer programs and liaise with cross-functional teams in a global oncology franchise. The role reports to the Medical Affairs Director and supports external scientific engagement.

The position is at US remote with travel up to 25%, requiring advanced healthcare degree and 8+ years in life sciences; oncology experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a scientific/healthcare field required; PharmD/PhD/MD strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in pharma/biotech/healthcare or related life sciences industry.

Responsabilités

• Serve as medical director for assigned prostate cancer projects.
• Develop Medical Affairs strategic plans aligned with brand imperatives and external input.
• Coordinate with alliance partners and cross-functional teams to execute Medical Affairs plans.
• Lead publication plans and support external scientific engagements.
• Ensure compliant interactions and alignment with internal policies.
