Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-based MSL/Senior MSL to strategically support research and business objectives across a designated therapeutic area within a specified geography. The role centers on delivering AbbVie science to healthcare professionals and maintaining professional relationships to support AbbVie initiatives.

The position requires an advanced degree and 2+ years of MSL experience, with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and the ability to travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required (PharmD/MD/DO/PhD/APP).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience for a Senior MSL; direct MSL experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 0–2 years of relevant experience for an MSL.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and maintain professional relationships with thought leaders, academic centers, and researchers.
• Present scientific information to healthcare professionals across the product lifecycle.
• Support research initiatives and external collaborations as requested by AbbVie.
• Serve as a scientific resource to commercial teams and healthcare providers.
