Job summary

Compass Pathways Inc. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or Senior MSL to join the Medical Affairs team. You will establish scientific relationships, deliver high-quality exchanges, and gather field insights to guide clinical development and medical strategy.

The role is field-based in Dallas, TX or Oklahoma City, OK with travel up to 75%. Ideal candidates hold advanced scientific credentials (PhD/MD/PharmD/PMHNP) and have prior MSL experience, preferably in neuroscience or psychiatry.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific training with credentials (e.g., PhD, PharmD, PMHNP, MD).
• Previous MSL experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience in neuroscience, psychiatry or psychology improves fit.
• Candidate must reside within geographic area and be able to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scientifically grounded relationships with HCPs and thought leaders.
• Lead in-depth scientific conversations on disease, methods, and evidence in TRD and PTSD.
• Provide accurate medical information in response to unsolicited requests.
• Collect and communicate medical insights to inform strategy and planning.
• Maintain scientific expertise and engage in education activities and congresses.
• Ensure compliance with ethics and regulatory requirements in field activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Development, Government Affairs, Market Access.
• Provide training to sales and marketing teams.
• For Senior MSLs: mentor junior MSLs and support onboarding and projects.
