Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. seeks a Medical Science Liaison (CNS) to support the ecosystem-based engagement model.

You will provide clinical and economic insights to healthcare providers and stakeholders within the CNS space, applying real-world data to improve patient outcomes across the ecosystem. You will cover multiple CNS products, engage KIs and LPLs, and contribute to regional medical strategies while supporting training and collaborations with trial activities and speakers across

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences or Master’s degree with equivalent psychiatry or CNS clinical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical medical affairs or relevant work experience.
• Understanding of health systems, patient care delivery, and working with healthcare professionals and decision makers.
• Strong business acumen; knowledge of the industry, Otsuka model and market factors.
• Excellent communication and collaboration; able to resolve conflicts in cross‑functional settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and scientific input to local execution plans to improve patient care.
• Build relationships with scientific/medical customers and organizations to understand healthcare trends and Otsuka products.
• Develop deep understanding of the ecosystem to align with patient-centric strategy and priorities.
• Offer evidence-based information demonstrating value of Otsuka products across clinical, economic, and humanistic perspectives.
